A chemical black finish is also referred to as black oxide or blackening. It is a 'conversion coating', which is a coating for metal where the surface of the part is subjected to a chemical o process by the coating material, converting it into a decorative or protective substance
Chemical blackening is often used on fasteners made from stainless steel, copper, copper based alloys and zinc.
1. Properties
1. Film uniform and fine, good adhesion, abrasion resistance is better than similar domestic products. Corrosion resistance is better than that of high temperature blackening film.
2. With broad scope of application, regardless of the high carbon steel, low carbon steel, alloy steel, silicon steel, manganese steel, including chromium 12, cast iron can be obtained uniform compact film with high quality.
3. Short production cycle, high production efficiency, blackening time only need 1~6min. Simple operation, the production equipment and personnel requirements are not high.
4. Can operate at room temperature, does not produce harmful gases, blackening solution not containing corrosive substances, improve the working environment, treatment liquid containing no lead, mercury, chromium, cadmium, arsenic and other heavy metal pollution of the environment and other organic pollutants.
