classification
Before metal chemical treatment, electroplating, and coating, degreasers should be used to remove grease and mineral oil from the metal surface. The main components of degreasing agents are as follows:
(1) Alkaline degreaser
(2) Lotion degreaser
(3) Solvent degreaser
A degreaser formula mainly composed of surfactants does not damage the texture of metal products when cleaning metal surfaces, and a small amount of degreaser can emulsify and disperse a large amount of oil, making it easy for oil stains to detach from the metal surface. It is an ideal type of metal cleaning agent. The commonly used surfactants include anionic surfactants such as LAS and AOS, and non-ionic surfactants such as AEO. The former has strong cleaning power but poor resistance to hard water, and chelating agents are added when using it; The latter is not sensitive to hard water, but the washing temperature should be appropriate to prevent the occurrence of turbidity points.
The degreasing agent formula containing surfactants mainly relies on its emulsification effect to remove oil stains on metal surfaces. It is best to choose a surfactant variety with a lower HLB value. However, this type of substance has weak water solubility and is not easy to rinse. It often leaves a layer of adsorption film on the surface of the washed object, so ethanol can dissolve and remove it in the formula. For example, the application formula of metal degreasing cleaning agent is as follows: AEO-72 kerosene 13l ethanol 6 dicarbonyl dimethylammonium chloride l20, phosphoric acid aqueous solution 60. A degreasing cleaning agent mainly composed of alkali can reduce the cost of cleaning agent when the amount of oil scale is small.
Classification Introduction
(1) Alkaline degreaser
Composed of two components: A and B, where A is generally composed of alkaline substances and B is composed of various surfactants. When used, the two are directly mixed in a certain proportion in the tank to form a working solution.
Proportional dosage: A: 2-4%, B: 1-2%
Indicator: Free alkali: 10-20 points (usually the number of mL during titration)
Applicable scope:
Suitable for removing oxide films on metal surfaces and cleaning various types of oil stains on the surface (such as mechanical oil, emulsified oil, lubricating oil, engine oil, etc.), it is more suitable for metal anodizing and its spraying, as well as degreasing and removing oxide films before electroplating.
(2) Solvent based degreaser
Degreasing agent is a solvent based cleaning agent specially developed for cleaning industrial and mining machinery and equipment. Can quickly and effectively clean sulfonic oil, engine oil, rust removal oil, and solidified grease from mechanical surfaces, bearings, and pipelines. This product is not prone to spontaneous combustion and does not pose a natural ignition risk due to substances such as gasoline or diluents. Quickly and completely evaporate without leaving any residue, ensuring safe and non-destructive properties for metals, coating finishes, insulation coatings, and soluble rubber, plastics, and other materials. Free from harmful substances such as carbon tetrachloride and benzene. Strong permeability, no need to completely disassemble equipment for cleaning.
Product features:
Colorless and transparent, some degreasers are milky white in color
Odor solvent odor
Specific gravity 1:1.2
PH value 6 ± 0.5
Scope of application: Used for removing rust proof oil before installation of industrial and mining machinery equipment, equipment maintenance during production, cleaning of waste sulfonic oil in bearings and pipelines, cleaning of sulfonic oil solidification layer on equipment surface, and cleaning of machine oil yellow robe.
Usage: Apply the product with a cloth to clean the surface, oil layer, and sludge. It will quickly decompose and fall off. No need to rinse with clean water, it naturally evaporates and becomes clean. Use a spray gun to connect compressed air with a pressure range of 0.4-0.6 MPa and inhale it into TM-26. Spray and clean the dead corners of oil sludge and oil stains. After the oil stains are resolved and cleaned, blow dry with compressed air.
Attention: Open flames should be avoided at the operation site, and sufficient ventilation should be maintained during cleaning. Non soluble rubber should not be in contact for a long time. Hand operated workers need to wear gloves. This product has strong degreasing properties and long-term contact with the skin can cause rough and astringent skin.
